Hey you guys.

I decided to create a whole thread for this upcoming movie... yeah! It seems really interesting. It was originally supposed to star Brad Pitt but he dropped out and the director decided to make it into a graphic novel. Well, the movie was later recast with new stars, but he went on with the graphic novel anyway. Apparently there are some differences in the plot for the novel and the movie. Here is the novel:

Also, Lee will be interested to know that Mayan Mysticism was the main cultural influence for the movie - particularly the Mayan Mystic Tree.

Heh, boy I sure know how to pick 'em! It appears that a showing of the Fountain was booed at a film festival. Oh well, maybe next time.

Apparently, a showing of the Fountain in Toronto was greeted with hissing. Which begs the question - what was Schlop doing in Toronto?

That's pretty funny!! I can't believe people HISSED!

I like the line that says "Many critics walked out but it is unclear whether they didn't like it or were just going to the next showing..." Crazy journalists!

Too bad if the movie is bad though. I wonder if it's just complicated- or actually BAD?
