The Schlop of War

Hey gang - I just watched the Schlop of War which Gulliver picked up for me from the Schloply Library. It was pretty good - eleven life lessons from the guy who was the Secretary of Defense during the Vietnam War. I was surprised he forgot the most important lesson though: never get involved in a land war in Asia!

We also got Murder on the Orient Express - I'm gonna watch that next!

Scratch that

Sorry to get you guys excited about the Murder on the Schlop Express - I tried to watch the movie but the DVD stopped playing 40 minutes in and I couldn't get it going again, even after using my paws to wipe it clean. Oh well, I guess we'll never know what happens...

Hey guys, Gulliver picked up some more swag at the library today. He got two movies - War of the Schlops and also Lonesome Schlops. We just watched War of the Schlops. It was okay, the aliens weren't very scary and there was a little girl but she never said that the water was contaminated - what's up with that. Clearly the water was contaminated the whole time.

Gulliver also got the next Ex Schlopina which I'm sure he will blog about. Okay, schlops out.

poor movie taste, yo

Dudes... how goes it??

So I don't get it.... I mean, you know, like, what gives?

We put together this TOTALLY AWESOME list of RADICALLY AMAZING movies for you guys to see... but then you're wasting time watching some whacked out lame movies like War of the Worlds.

And what the hell is Lonesome Schlops?

Why don't you guys watch Snickets. Or at least Shrek 2... Lee watched that at work today and said it was SO FUNNY.

...just like my picture....

Howdy Snowy, we took heed of your suggestion and tried to watch Shrek the Two yesterday, but the DVD wasn't working very well. We will try to catch Snickets today - I'll let you know if the DVD works better.

But also Lonesome Schlops is pretty good too. It's all about these people going around on horses. Diane Lane keeps saying how she wants to go to San Francisco but is scared of the Indians - just like Lee! I will let you know if she ever gets there!

Hey gang,

We just watched Lemony Snickets! The DVD played all the way through - wheeeeee! It was a pretty good movie too.

Earlier we finished Lonesome Schlops - it was like the Million Dollar Schloppy set as a Western.

Snickets!

Hi DJ

I'm sure Lee probably told Dave who told you... but I was thinking you might want to hit up wikipedia for some japanese gods so that you can get the DEEP meanings out of Spirited Away.

Well I'll be curious what you think. The sootballs scene was my favorite and it's also one of my all time favorite soundtrack moments.

I liked it!

It reminded me of the time I stowed away in Lee's backpack and she took me everywhere just like Chihiro!

Also Duddles liked the 'Hoo hoo hoo' song at the end.

Hey DJ,

Oh! That's so exciting that you liked Spirited Away.

Did Dave like it too?? I thought the old lady with the big head was scary and the goopy stinky god that wasn't a god was scary too.

I also thought the ending was bad... but I liked the main kids and the music.

Nibs is very impressed with your picture... good work he says, but he's too sleepy to log on himself.

Hey guys

Schlop has asked me to correct an error. Apparently in our original recommendation chart, it should be SNEECHES who endorsed Troy and not Schlop. Schlop in fact wants to be in no way associated with that film. Although Schlop does hope that you enjoy it...but if you do not... take it up with SNEECHES!
