Nibs -- I have a question for you about Schlop. How does Schlop stay cool during the hot summer days?

Hey Gully,

I just heard from some other bears who heard from mini-nibs who heard from somebody online that Schlop stays cool by sitting on a banana in the freezer and then covering himself with tuna. Maybe you should try it out? It has been really hot lately, especially for those of us with mohair fur...

It seems like I haven't heard from you in awhile. Are you having a good summer? Any beetle problems?

I heard there was a meteor shower tonight. Did you see any meteors?

Hey - get this everybody... I just heard that Schlop wants to go swimming! Can you believe it? I never would have imagined Schlop swims... What kind of stroke do you think he does? Does he just float around or does he paddle and kick too? Does he wear a swim cap and trunks?

Looks like the tables have turned. I just overheard this in an email from Lee:

It is really HOT today here which never happens. Schlop wants to know if you have any tips on how the bears can keep cool?

Now that Schlop is overheating he wants tips on cooling down - but where was he when we were hot?

What is going on with the heat situation? I am freezing my tuchus off over here! Is the heater broken? Who is in charge of the heater? Duddles? Is it Duddles?

This morning I saw Shnoodles with icicles on his fur! Petri is gonna turn into an ice cube!

We've got to heat this heat situation resolved. I know we are technically based on polar bears but this is getting ridiculous!

I am so RELIEVED that you are guys aren't living in an ICE CAVE anymore!

I was worried that if PIPES froze than PEACHES would have to drink ICE WATER. Brrrrrr!

Now you bears can stay TOASTY and WARM for the WINTER!

It's pretty hot this week. I imagine this is what it is like on the playa with Lee. Luckily there aren't as many dust storms here on the bed.

It's so hot in the room these days I decided to head out to the local watering hole to take a dip. Here's me before I jumped in - the lifeguard seemed pretty cool!

Oh dear - I just heard that San Franibsco had a record temperature of 106 degrees - that is so hot!

Sneeches I hope you are okay and I am glad Schlop's bear cave stays very cool.

What did you guys down there do with the heat? All of a sudden I am freezing my tail off up here. I can't find any blankets and not all of us are blessed with the bountiful blubber of Snowy.
