Schlop's new comforter

I heard that Lee got Schlop a new comforter so he can stay extra warm and toasty. (You would think all that blubber would have the same effect...)

I heard that it is light blue... just the right color. Blue is the coolest color for any situation. Dr Manhattan can be any color he chooses and chooses to be blue. Also Snuffles is blue.

The reviews are starting to trickle in and it looks like the new comforter is a success. Initial reports were that the color of the comforter was too subtle - but by the next day Schlop had awarded it two paws up (his highest honor).

We are still awaiting for reviews from Nibs and Sneeches and also pictures.

Schlop got a new wool Alafoss from Iceland.

I am not sure what an Alafoss is, but it looks pretty warm. Schlop wore it to the beach.

I don't know what's going on out there (nor do I want to) but there sure was quite a commotion last night.

Some of us bears in the closet are trying to sleep thank you very much!

Schlop got a new sweater that was hand made just for him from Icelandic wool to match the Alafoss.



Personally I think it looks a bit big for him buy maybe it will shrink in the wash.

I heard Schlop got a new blanket that is from Ireland

I hope he will finally be able to sleep without that pea bothering him

Lots of excitement today.

Some speculators called and want to extract stuffing from Schlop's malm.

They claim the malm will still look and feel the same and we won't even notice the difference. And they're willing to pay top dollar for each piece of fluff. They say the nearby beds have all agreed and that they'll be taking the fluff regardless so best to just sign all fluff rights to them.

Schlop is in talks with his lawyers.

Apparently Schlop has used his powers of persuasion to procure even more blankets. He now has a panoply of blankets that some bears have estimated could reach double digits.

Is it possible for one bear to have too many blankets?

Will Schlop be crushed under the weight of so many layers?

What if Nibs gets trapped in between two blankets?

So many questions...

Billy tried to nab Schlop's blankets but Lee was able to track him down and get Schlop's blankets back just like Liam Neeson in Taken:

I heard Schlop has received a strange new blanket that is currently in quarantine until Schlop decides if it has passed his high blanket standards.

If the blanket is deemed acceptable, it will begin a multi-stage acclimation process. In HR this is termed "on-boarding" but with Schlop's blankets we refer to it as "on-malming".

Many nebulous factors go into determining which layer this blanket might be right for - or if it is not malm-worthy it can be relegated for use by the closet bears.

Who knows what the future will hold for this blanket? Only Schlop can tell.

The Schlop's eyes stay closed, until some blanket who does not feel its own worth tries to pass by.
