Meechee managed!

Post by Duddles »

Hoo hoo we saw Schlopfoot and I liked Meechee the best!

Hoo hoo hoo!

It made me wonder if all the legends about the flannel bed are true... is the bed really held up by a pile of books and below that is nothing? What if there is really a whole world out there with Andes mints?

Hoo

Unredacted!

Wow! I can't believe there was a MEECHEE thread and I was posting in some other thread like a fool!

So excited all the bears have now seen SCHLOPFOOT!

So much fuzz!

Here's my redacted post with the words now:

We wont post spoilers in case the St Louis bears watch it. So I wont tell you about how good it was and the cover they do of Under Pressure and how surprised I was that James Corden was a voice actor.

We think all the Yetis look like Schlop if he grew his hair just a little bit longer.

Also there were songs in the movie so that was a delight!

Such a popular movie trope

Also now we can ask the important question:

Which movie did a better job of unexpectedly covering a David Bowie song in a small arctic pub?

A) Smallfoot https://cl.ly/e6fd4352ec3a
B) Walter Mitty https://cl.ly/11dba074018f

The bears should vote!

Meechee movies

Post by Shnoodles »

Hey you Meechee guys,

The big trend in Hollywood this year is Yeti movies - first there was Meechee in Schlopfoot, then there was The Missing Sneech which Ash really loved, and now there is the upcoming movie Schlopbominable!

Schlopbominable looks very exciting - they combined the fuzziness of Meechee with some cool Kubo music magic and even threw in some TaleSpin cloud surfing and Willy Wonka giant blueberries!

I suspect they will have a new Schlopscar category for Fuzziest Yeti this year!

Schlopbominable

Post by Nibs »

Is this the thread where we talk about the 3 Yeti movies?

As we all know Missing Link (Ash's favorite), Smallschlop, and Abominable dominated box offices this year because people love furry bear-like creatures.

Apparently Abominable has been causing a big stir on the interwebs due to a background shot of a map of China that shows Taiwan's border in a highly controversial way.

Some are arguing this is the way a girl from Shanghai's map would look so it is accurate, not a political statement. Others think the Chinese animators did this intentionally against Dreamworks' knowledge.

Clearly Lee and I need to finally see this film and suss it out for ourselves!
