HAPPY MR MONKEY DAY TO ONE AND ALL

Here's a poem I wrote for today:

There once was a Monkey from England
Who had lots of friends he was seekin
He helped little Nibs
Kick the evil monkey in the ribs
And now he's a hero, i'm thinkin

So Schlop has a baby who is a kindergarten teacher??? And he lives in Schlop's bean bag chair???

This is way too hard to believe!

Thanks, everyone. Special thanks to Ms. Lee for the excellent poem (now on my fridge!), to Mr. Baby Schlop for passing on that awesome picture (where can I get that hat?), and to Mr. Gundy (I'd love to be your friend!). Most of all I hope Mr. Nibs is doing well and resting comfortably. Huzzah!

It's just that.... well.... you see....


Well...I made ....that hat for you.... Baby Schlop.... didn't make a hat.... it was me.... you see.... I spent quite a while on it.....oh dear.

But .... I'm glad you want....to be my friend. .... Yeah.... that'd be fun....

Ah, you see as an invertebrate monkey - it is just so easy to put one's foot in one's mouth! My sincere apologies to Mr. Gundy - indeed you did draw the hat, and a mighty fine hat it is. It was Mr. Baby Schlop who passed on those balloons. (I also noticed Mr. Schlop is holding a balloon today, could it be a Mr. Monkey balloon as well?) The excitement was just a bit too much for me, I do hope you accept my sincere apologies.

PS - I notice we might have a very similar brim size Mr. Gundy - maybe I could send you a few of my hats to see how they fit you?

How is that Baby Schlop has never met Nibs yet he lives in Schlop's bean bag chair? Why wouldn't Schlop introduce Nibs to his children??

Just to clear up a few things... I'm pretty sure Schlop is not related to me, I have my OWN chair.... it's a BABY bean bag chair. And this is my second year teaching kindergarten.... it's been tough, but I really like working with the kids. Thanks for your support.

By the way, were you REALLY on Jeopardy?
