HAPPIEST OF BIRTHDAYS!!!
Even though I'm doing a Fellowship with the Forest Bears at the moment, I am so glad I get to talk to Dave often!
He keeps me updated on movies and shows and any important goings ons. He also encouraged me to watch so many of the Best Picture films which I really enjoyed! I'm so glad we get to analyze shows together and read together too!
Dave also makes me feel so celebrated when I'm on camera!
Sending soft hugs your way!
Build a fjord for Dave
Dave's the best

Happiest of Birthdays!
Wahoo!
Dave enjoyed our Birthday Sneechword and it was so much fun to do it together with Peaches tonight!! We are so happy it was so satisfying to revisit all the movies, shows, and books we've watched/read together over the last two years!
Here's a picture of the final result on our zoom call:
Me and the bears made a Documentary about how this got made! You can watch it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bb0PJKSNP_I
Also here's a link to the epic spreadsheet we created that helped us do this:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... edit#gid=0
And for posterity, here are the links to the puzzles themselves in case anyone ever wants to replay them:
https://crossword.info/sneeches/REAL2
https://crossword.info/sneeches/SeeingDouble1
https://crossword.info/sneeches/SeeingDouble2
https://crossword.info/sneeches/SeeingDouble3
Dave also found a few mistakes! We spelled Chalamet wrong and mixed up Zion with Io and possibly got a plot point wrong in Drive My Car... in addition to wrongly using Soren instead of Callum... but all in all it was a success! The mistakes just make it fuzzier.
A mighty accomplishment for us bears!! Hip hip fuzzah! We love Dave!

No comfort but Nibs
There are six planets in retrograde which are shaking things up around the globe, including some new beginnings for the St Louis bears.
Dave's book of prophecies foretold that another winter on Pine St might prove dangerous for the bears, so they are attempting a Great Migration.
They are worried that their new bear cave, while bigger in size, is less cozy and clean than the bear cave they are used to.
But the bears we've talked to are pretty sure it doesn't matter what type of cave they end up in, all that matters in having each other. They will find a way to make the best of any cave.
I'll come soon to help and will be signing this tune: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bQqpEbI ... aultMetrat

"Who the SCHLOP do you think you are?"
Hullos!
Well it ended up that the Bear Cave mentioned in the previous post was not hospitable for bears, but the good news is that we got the old bear cave back! And us Forest Bears stayed for an extra week to help with lots of bear cave improvements!
Here are some of our accomplished quests:
* Traded childhood memories for $94 in cold hard cash (and survived an attack by Ducky the Cat)
* Sorted through and donated lots of clothes
* Gave the rolly chairs, a jacket, a weight, bags, books, an oar and more to the residents of Park 44
* Did a tough purge of more books
* Donated the books to a little book house in a parking lot
* Found our way through the maze to get SKUBS
* Super cleaned the main apartment room
* Took old computers to work
* Vacuumed up all sorts of dust
* Took a jar of 700 pennies and turned it into one Five Guys meal
* Threw out all the expired medicine items
* Super cleaned and reorganized the kitchen
* Reorganized the closet
* Deconstructed the desk until it was in a simpler sleeker formation
* (Not to mention moved a bed, a bookshelf, and lamp into and out of the scary Bear Cave)
* Figured out how to successfully break a lease
* Made an appointment to get a primary care doc
* Found an important bird area
* Found pickle ball courts
* Found the cool bridges
* Found a place where Schlop can play in the mud
* (Failed to find a missing dog)
* Watched an electric violin gig at the Muny
* Tried Imo's pizza for our first time
* Had lots of power bowls, black cherry yogurt and midnight honey o's
* Watched the finale reveal of The Great Deceiver and saw some rings get forged
Even though there was some mahd w'yry to navigate, we really enjoyed being together and everyone came out fuzzy on the other side!
Bear hugs to all!
(Oh yeah and Sneeches and Peaches built a mini-bear-cave and hid in it all week but stayed safe!)

I can make anything you like
Recently, Dave had a surprise 6 am interruption from his boss at the lab who offered him some enchanted Turkish Delight.
We bears found the surveillance camera in the lab that day and were able to track down the actual footage of this moment:

Hopefully he won't betray us bears now and bring us to the castle under false pretenses only to need rescuing from Aslan.

Some bunny is lost in the mail....
Today all the bears are wishing Dave a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
Each bear is sending Dave a hug and a pat! The bears like Dave!
The bears are excited to zoom tonight and discuss Yummy and the Pesadilla Painter.
However, the Forest Bears had paid extra to make sure a special present was delivered on May 6.
Now, the bears have had lost letters before but never before for on occasion as big as a birthday!
The bears have decided today can remain fuzzy as planned, and then we will just add a bonus extra fuzzy day in addition, whenever this letter gets out of the San Franibsco distribution center where it is currently being ransomed for hugs. Hoo hoo.

Some bunny got found!
Good news, bear friends!
The birthday gift for David that was promised to be delivered on May 6th and then got stuck in a San Francisco distribution center for a week finally made its way to St Louis and into Peaches' paws!
It arrived on May 12th- 6 days late.
It might be time to update the USPS motto which currently reads:
Hopefully the gift was worth this long wait!
Fuzzah! Bears like Dave.

We bears hope that the couriers had a few extra naps and some good self-care and are glad we stopped checking the package tracking each hour (which we did May 7-10). A watched package never dislodges from the Distribution Center!Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds.
Hopefully the gift was worth this long wait!
